Landmarks and Places Tourists Should Visit:
Stonehenge - Stonehenge is a monument in Wiltshire, England, and it is one of the most famous sites in the world. Stonehenge is surely England's greatest national icon, symbolizing mystery, power and endurance. This monument was constructed approximately 5,000 years ago, to symbolize power and strength. The bluestones weigh up to 4 tons each and 80 stones were used in this monument.
The Monument - The Monument is the tallest isolated stone column in the world and was built as a memorial to the Great Fire of London. It was designed by Sir Christopher Wren and Robert Hooke, this was completed in 1677. You will have to climb up 311 stairs to reach the top of The Monument. It is totally worth it because you will see breathtaking views of London.
Royal Albert Hall - Royal Albert Hall is one of London's most famous art venues, it is also famous because of its circular like shape. Each year, the venue is host to more than 359 performances ranging from local and community events, rock concerts, opera, and lavish banquets. This also has a capacity of 5,500 people, allowing large audiences to see the likes of many plays.
Tower Bridge Exhibition - Tower Bridge is one of London's iconic sights and visitors who go to the exhibition will learn about its history and how the bridge works. When it was constructed in 1894, the Tower Bridge was the most sophistacated bridge at the time. Today, you can see inside the engine rooms, where the original steam engines were housed to power the bridge.
Major Cities in England:
London - London houses important landmarks such as the House of Parliament, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, the British Museum, National Gallery, and Madame Tussuads Museum.
Birmingham - In Birmingham major attractions are Barber Institute of Fine Arts, Cadbury World, Midlands Arts Center, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
Manchester - While visiting Manchester you should definitely see the Printworks Leisure Complex and the Manchester Velodrome.
Coventry - Coventry also provides a number of tourist attractions like Coventry Cathedral, Coventry Transport Museum, St. Mary's Hall, Holy Trinity Church, and the Herbert Art Gallery.
Liverpool - In Liverpool, City Center is the best place to find tourist attractions and fun activities. You should see the World Museum Liverpool, the Walker Art Gallery, and the Metropolitan Cathedral which are also quite popular.
Bristol - While in Bristol, you may have a chance to catch the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, it is one of Europe's largest hot air balloon events.
Activities on the Cruise Ship:
You can do many, many fun things on the cruise ship, I am sure you are going to like it! Come and play at the arcade, try to beat your friends high score!
