Meteorologist - Weather Pattern Created by the Ocean, Vacation Time, and Clothes
Weather Pattern Created by the Ocean:
El Nino - El Nino is a warming of the ocean surface usually off the western coast of South America, this occurs every 4 to 12 years. Sometimes the sea surface temperatures are warmer than average, which is what we see with El Nino. When the warming of the surface is warmer than average, this can cause many hurricanes along the coast. El Nino affects many of the states along the coastline such as Georgia, Texas, Florida, etc.
La Nina - La Nina is the cooling of the ocean surface, and La Nina also occurs off the western coast of South America. This occurs every 3 to 12 years, only 1 year less than El Nino. Sometimes the sea surface temperatures are colder than average, which is what we see with La Nina. When the cooling of the surface is colder than average, this can cause the land to be wetter, damper, drier, and warmer than usual. La Nina affects countries like Australia, New Zealand, etc.
Seasonal Changes:
Spring - Spring wouldn't be the best time to go on a cruise to any place. Spring is when hurricane season begins, and we wouldn't want anything happening to anyone on board. Spring is the transition into summer, but it is most likely that the weather would be cold due to the transition from winter. During spring it would be raining a lot, so you wouldn't get to do the fun activities on the cruise.
Autumn - Autumn would be a good time to go on a cruise only if you don't want to do any activities. Autumn is the transition to winter and it might be too cold to go outside. The more it gets closer to winter the more cold the water would be, and that won't be good if you want to go surfing, boogie boarding, etc. During autumn it wouldn't be the best time to go on a cruise.
(Winter is just too cold)
Summer - Summer would be the best time to go on a cruise for many, many reasons. It is hot outside so you can go in the water, eat ice cream, play, relax, ETC. During summer, you can do so many activities on the cruise and the water would be warm and nice. Summer would definitely be the best time to go on a cruise to anywhere.
What Clothes to Bring on a Cruise in Summer:
If you go on cruise in summer you shouldn't bring warm, soft, winter-like clothes. You should bring t-shirts, shorts, bathing suits, flip flops, dresses, etc (here is a list of clothes you should bring recommended by me). You should bring t-shirts so you are not sweating beneath the sun. You should bring shorts so you are not sweating and it is easier to get around in. You should definitely bring bathing suits to go in the water and to do your favorite activities. You should also bring flip flops so your feet can be cool and it is more relaxing. You should bring dresses (if you are a girl) to be loose, comfortable, and to be relaxed. You should totally bring sunglasses to keep the sun out of your eyes, and hats to keep the sun out of your face. Even though this isn't technically clothing, but without a doubt bring sunscreen so you don't get burnt.
